Hand-built ceramic works exploring change through form, contrast and surface
These works explore the idea of transformation. Beginning as simple blocks of clay, they are torn, cut and reshaped before layers of light and dark terra sigillata reveal the changes made during the making process.
Rather than hiding those interventions, the work celebrates them. Every cut, join and contrast becomes part of the finished piece, reflecting the idea that transformation is not about replacing what came before, but about becoming something new.
